I managed to install fedora core 1 on my fujitsu c1020 and eventually managed to resize the desktop, my installation is on my second drive as I have 2 on my laptop, not bad for a beginner its my first experience with any Linux software at all! I love the look and feel of this OS it's just what i wanted instead of the blue screen of death! only one problem.... I don't know how to set up the modem (conexant HSF) dial up modem to my Tiscali account, my KPPP find the modem but hangs while initializing, I have tried each option available but none work is there any way I can find the correct settings and update them myself? ---------> total beginner here it took me a week to install the software!
