Angry fstab Error

I've changed my fstab configuration to automount a new hard drive. It seems that I've made an error in the file as during the loading sequence, Fedora stops loading when starting the drives and puts my into shell. Being a beginner I dont know how to alter fstab from this point. Im guessing I have to "cd" to a text editor and then open the fstab this way.....??????

What I have tried doing is load Knoppix and later the Fedora fstab this way. The trouble is that its telling me that I dont have the correct permissions. Can anyone help please as I dont want to have to reinstall Fedora

You have to be root in order to change files on other partitions. I don't know how to be root in Knoppix but if you browse on the web you'll probably get an answer, or you can use MEPIS live CD.
