free linuxant beta driver fix

for those of you that cant compile the free hcf/hsf beta driver from linuxant here is a fix i came across. if works for me so try it.

For usage of winmodems with the kernel-2.4.nn Fedora releases
a change in the serial-like driver code of WinModems is necessary.
See for guidance: http://hepunx.rl.ac.uk/~wmurray/pctel/pctel.html
Basically , the line: 1074 i think in file serial_core.c
if ((tty->count == 1) && (state->count != 1)) {
should be changed into:
if (atomic_read(&tty->count) == 1 && state->count != 1) {

HAI ,

Thanks for the tip in advance.I was working on the error in serial_core.c for a few months.

But the link http://hepunx.rl.ac.uk/~wmurray/pctel/pctel.html is not working .

Please correct it

Hai,

10000 TB of thanks to you man.At last my TUX enjoys 56kpbs speed.

The long awaited message was seen in my terminal ,yesterday night 3AM.

[root@localhost Linux]# hsfconfig
Linux HSF softmodem drivers, version 4.06.06.02

No pre-built HSF modules are available for your exact kernel:
Linux-2.4.22-1.2115.nptl-i686-RedHat-1-MODVERS

Assuming that a C compiler and proper kernel header files are present
on your system, we will now attempt to re-compile the modules.

Where is the directory of C header files that match your running kernel?
[/lib/modules/2.4.22-1.2115.nptl/build]

Re-compiling HSF modules for kernel 2.4.22-1.2115.nptl, using source directory
/lib/modules/2.4.22-1.2115.nptl/build. Please wait..
Re-compilation and installation of HSF modules succeeded.

THANKS

does this compile under 2.6 kernel?
