Can you work out what path sound is using in windows??
ie open a mixer and try individual volume controls, not the master.
At least that may give you an idea of where it's going wrong

I believe Linux uses /dev/mixer for the audio. Also tried an update for tvtime but none available. And reinstalled it again after the kernel update, still nothing.

Thanks. Any other suggestions?
Show this same picture for windows capture.
Also can you record music with microphone or other line input and does it work? You have to have working recording capabilities in linux before your TVtime card can work under that OS.
Have you tried this yet, as suggested above:
% kmix
This launches KDE's mixer,
You should be able to select "Input" tab then "Line IN"
I have the same exact card running on FC6_64 / REL4_64, with TVTIME on a 32bit machines / 64bit machines.

Given the thread title, I am quite surprised that no one took you up on it's rather rude nature.
Being that as it may, I will share with you how I got sound to work on Winfast TV2000XP Expert card. I originally had connected the sound from the TV card to my sound card via the Line-In. However while it worked in Windows, there was no sound in Linux.
So I removed the input into the sound card from Line-In to CD-In and viola it worked. Make sure of course that the CD-In is unmuted as well.
EDIT: There is also the possibility that ALSA doesn't not support sound capture for your sound device. I know this because i had to use my mobo's onboard sound card instead of my Sound Blaster Live! 24-bit.
@tcomputerchip, So you got sound in Tvtime, which means mine is capable too.
@Jongi, Sorry if you feel that way, it wasn't rude however one may think, was more like a last cry for help, coz if it doesn't work anymore i'm getting a new sound card. The problem here is not no sound in Linux, its just Tvtime. Sound is perfect in Linux except this bugger. Interesting advice there about CD-In, i'll give it a shot.
Yes. And in your windows configuration it is set to analog. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be analog input source available in your linux configuration so maeby you should try other input source.
