Firefox lock and can't resize in FC5! HELP

I've re installed the whole operating system only to have the same issue re appear in firefox.
I am NOT able to resize any windows! What am I doing wrong>???

It worked OK for a couple of hours, but after one reboot it went back to the same, I can't resize any windows and they get static and have to completely reboot the system.

I've installed the latest drivers and done everything I think I could do.
what else can I do.
At the same time I do see "Window Manager" hanging while the system is coming back up. is this a known issue?

Gnome or KDE? Try the one you are not using and see if you have the same issue.

And, did you do any updates or anything that could possibly cause it to hang? Do you upgrade AFTER it freezes or before?
