Fedrora 2: process bootup messages

When my Fedora 2 system boots, there's a details "button" I can click
to show the init processes starting up. Is there a way for me to make
the detailed view the default?

I swear I read something about this in installation notes I found on google,
but I cannot find that article now.

in your grub.conf at /boot/grub, look for the line that looks like
kernel /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.7-1.494.2.2 ro root=/dev/hda7 rhgb quiet vga=788
remove the word quiet

Thanks ppuru -- I already have a second boot target in my grub.conf file
without quiet.

# markg removed quiet
title Fedora Core (markg 2.6.5-1.358)
root (hd0,0)
kernel /vmlinuz-2.6.5-1.358 ro root=LABEL=/1 rhgb
initrd /initrd-2.6.5-1.358.img

I just rebooted to be sure I was using that target. I see text messages
up to the "Enter I to go to interactive mode". Then it goes into grahical
mode with the "show details" string that I can click on.

Also remove rhgb. That is for Red Hat Graphical Boot.

Thanks for your input jrittvo. I tried without the rghb and the whole startup is
in text form. That will do, though I had hoped I could get the graphical
boot and see the boot details just like when I click on the "show details"
tab.

I'll let my case rest...
