Fedora versions...running proc/version

I run the command cat /proc/version and I get this...

Is this FC2?? How come some get 3.2.3-6.fc2

????

My boot log does need to change to use the 2.6 kernel...whats up

Had a problem with the upgrade...something happened to yum...something about update baseurl..I fixed my yum.conf ...did a yum upgrade and now it shows

Linux server1.illuminationsfx.com 2.6.9-1.11_FC2 #1 Sun Jan 2 15:49:30 EST 2005 i686 athlon i386 GNU/Linux

so we are good to go...I was worried for a minute...
