Fedora v13-64, Modems and WiFi

I've just installed Fedora v13-64 and everything seems to be working fine (sound, printers, scanner, etc) but I have a dialup account and what few directions there are regarding the Internet hookup, nothing even mentions "Modem." And what about using WiFi?

Anyone upto date on this end of what seems to be an otherwise excellent Linux OS?

For a 56k modem on dialup there should be pppd, which is insanely complicated. So install something like wvdial (gui version: kppp) for actually calling pppd. Set up your details in /etc/wvdial.conf and try your luck.

I appreciate the reply and will check "/etc/wvdial.conf" and see what I can do there.

As for KPPP, years of experience on this end suggest you are not correct with regard to it. In fact, I was hoping it would show up in Fedora after the setup was completed but it didn't, nor for that matter did wvdial.

Again, thanks for the reply.
