man man
man -k <subject of interest>
ls
cd <path>
vi <filename>

-- Actually, if you use that last one, hit esc until it beeps and then type :q! if you want to get out. (I just realized I could be being cruel rather than helpful.)

no offence, dont take me the wrong way, but that seems really lazy! there are tons of resources for linux on the web, a starting point is this forum, you can try http://www.google.com/linux and http://tldp.org.

hope it helps.
