Fedora LVM volume group & Physical Volume resize problem

Hi. I recently found out in Fedora 8 LVM manager that I had too much blank space in my volume group (in the right). So, I resized using pvresize. LVM manager successfully resized, and showed the reduced space (235G). However, when I check in GParted, it shows old size. (939G)This happened after reboot. Did I miss someting?
Thanks.
(By the way, my volume group has only one physical partition. Also, LVM managers shows both Volume Group and Physical volume same disk space.)

You are comparing a physical partition to a physical volume, this is normally, but not always the same thing. The physical partition will remain the same unless you resize it with something like gparted. The physical volume is the portion of the partition that has been setup or allocated for use by LVM.
