Fedora Core Problems with Telnet Server
Guys Im running Fedora Core (new to linux not sure how to tell which Version it is) and im having problems getting a telnet server working.
Please no comments on how Telnets unsecure and SSH is better as im fully aware of this.
I have the telnet service installed and running. And when on the actual box i can open a telnet connection to localhost. So i know the service is running and working.
I am also able to see using netstat that its listening on port 23 as it should be.
I have checked both my hosts.allow and hosts.deny file for anything fishy but they are both empty.
but when i try to connect from a machine on the LAN i get the "connection could not be failed." message.
Any help with this problem would be really apprecaited.
Ben
