Fedora core 7 Live CD install for x86 Laptop

Hey Guys and Guyettes,

I am in need of your help, I have a friend that is wanting to try Fedora but only has a CD drive. However most of the FC images are DVD. I know there is a Live CD that can be installed to the HDD. I found the i686 Version but that is no good to him.

Any help greatly appreciated

Jake

No, the i686 is a 32-bit version. The x86_64 version is 64-bit.

Thanks for your help, I thought it was right but when he said "this is the 64bit version" I thought maybe I got it wrong
