Thank you agkrueger your way worked. Your right it did recognized the drive as an H: don't know why either but it saw the linux partition. But removing the drive letter did the trick. I have been trying to solve this problem since Fedora Core 3 came out. Why it saw the linux partition in the first place is yet to be answered.
