Fedora Core 2 retarded boot banner

How do i get rid of this boot banner, you know the one that you can click on "show details" ? I just want my normal framebuffer window. Also is 1280x1024 the max for a framebuffer window ? My display is native 1920x1200 and can find no info on the web on going that high for framebuffer but i would think it could be that high. What i need is the highest VGA=? command for grub.conf. TIA

I have to use a boot parm that is specific to my driver (radeon) to get 1400x1050 on my laptop.

kernel /vmlinuz-2.6.7-1.494.2.2custom ro root=/dev/hda5 video=radeonfb:1400x1050-16@60
