fedora core 1 installation

I have a fedora test 3 version(severn) installed and all the packages updated. Is this the same as the fedora core 1 release which is scheduled to release later today? or do i need to download it again?

First, it won't be released for a couple of days....a small paperwork problem, I understand. If your packages are completely up to date, I'm sure that it will be pretty close, but there is no telling if it will be exactly the same. I will prefer a nice clean install of the final release, even though it's a little work.

Today's clarifications posted on one of the fedora mailing-list referred to technical problems which required bug fixes and respinning the distribution images.

I'm running a fully updated Fedora Core 0.95, which says "Fedora Core release 1 (Yarrow)", but still contains some packages which are older than what has been announced by the "Build System" bot on fedora-devel.

1. Did clean install the day after it was released
2. Went flawlessly
3. Configured in about an hours
4. Installed nvidia driver (after the GCC thing cleared up)
5. Waiting on new rpm builds from livna for multi-media stuff.
6. Faster than Red Hat 9
7. Once happy camper.

Install of Core 1 went fine except the grub boot loader. When starting up I get the grub command line prompt instead of the menu. Have to use the floppy boot disk made during the install to get up and running.
