You are quite welcome, and good luck. Let us know how that goes. If they can't get a DVD done and mailed to you maybe some nice person here at Linuxquestions can do it for you!

About your kernel compile, you might want to start a new thread for that in the "Linux - Kernel" forum. Good luck with that too.

i tried to compile and install a new kernel in red hat 5
on RHEL5 ( the OLDER 5 series)

there is a REASON you bought the required license

RHEL5 is STABLE , VERY STABLE

if you MUST use some distro and use the VERY VERY VERY NEW 3.5.2 kernel

then do not use a OLD operating system
use something that is VERY VERY VERY NEW also

RHEL5.8( the current in the 5 series) is using the 2.6.18 kernel
Because it is STABLE

Scroll down this page to "Forum Jump". Click on the "Fedora" tab and choose the forum to which you want to create your new thread. After your chosen forum page has loaded there is a button to the left above where the threads start entitled "New Thread". Click that and go from there. I recommend using "Search" feature first - your question might already have been answered! Good luck.
