Fedora 8 rdesktop clipboard issue
Hello,
This could very well be a bug with rdesktop and not an issue with Fedora, but I figured I would ask it here since I am specifically using Fedora 8. I currently have rdesktop 1.5.0-4 installed and when I remote desktop to a Windows XP machine on my local network, I can't copy/paste even just within the Windows session. I have tried adding these two lines to see if they help and I get nothing: Code:
-r clipboard:CLIPBOARD Thanks! |
Very strange. I have rdesktop-1.5.0-2 installed on FC7 and I connect to many windows machines daily. Clipboard works fine for me. Did you install your version of rdesktop from src? The latest version I see on yum is the one I have. Perhaps uninstall your version of rdesktop and do "yum install rdesktop" from a terminal window. Perhaps it's a bug in the version you have.

Well I'll be damned. I uninstalled the fc8 package (rdesktop 1.5.0-4) and pulled down the fc7 version (rdesktop 1.5.0-2) and that fixed it right up. Must be a bug in the fc8 version or something.
Thanks! |
Fixed in Fedora 11
This issue seems to have been resolved in Fedora 11.
