Fedora 7 in PS3, shutdown -* now problem..

Despite running decently in PS3, Fedora7 seems to have a serious flaw. It doesn't reboot or shut down! Using what so ever option in shutdown comand gives the same result, system freeze just after line "Shutting down the system". This obviously means that boot_game_os doesn't work either, which means that failure can't be in otheros.bld itself. I tried to use rc.* config fils from YDL but all it ended up with was catastrophe...

Any idea where the problem might be? I didn't find any clues by googling for it. Never mind the sig, I have YDL 5 installed again and it doesn't really suit me in long term but at least lets me whoop some Chimeran ass without need for hard-reset...
