Question Fedora 7 + ATI = Black screen?

After Installation of the Drivers for the Ati X1300 Pro my fedora boots to a black screen.. Anyone knows how to fix it?

Here are some details that might help:

Installation:
Code:
su -
rpm -ivhU http://rpm.livna.org/livna-release-7.rpm

then

yum -y install kmod-fglrx glx-utils
After installation i edited the xorg.conf as in the guide i found:

Code:
ATI driver final adjustments:

For both installation methods the ATI video driver needs a little tweaking in order to work correctly. Still logged in as root, type:

kate /etc/X11/xorg.conf

if you don't have Kate editor installed you can try with

gedit /etc/X11/xorg.conf

search for the ServerFlags section. It looks like this:

Section "ServerFlags"
Option "AIGLX" "on"
EndSection

and replace the "on" with "off"

Then search for the Extensions section. It looks like this:

Section "Extensions"
Option "Composite" "Enable"
EndSection

and replace the "Enable" option with "Disable"

And finally, add the following lines to the end of the file:

Section "DRI"
Mode 0666
EndSection
and it boots to a Black screen...

Here is the xorg.conf:

Code:
# Xorg configuration created by livna-config-display

Section "ServerLayout"
	Identifier "Default Layout"
	Screen 0 "Screen0" 0 0
	InputDevice "Keyboard0" "CoreKeyboard"
EndSection

Section "Files"
	ModulePath "/usr/lib/xorg/modules"
EndSection

Section "ServerFlags"
	Option "AIGLX" "off"
EndSection

Section "InputDevice"
	Identifier "Keyboard0"
	Driver "kbd"
	Option "XkbModel" "pc105"
	Option "XkbLayout" "us"
EndSection

Section "Device"
	Identifier "Videocard0"
	Driver "fglrx"
	Option "OpenGLOverlay" "off"
	Option "VideoOverlay" "on"
EndSection

Section "Screen"
	Identifier "Screen0"
	Device "Videocard0"
	DefaultDepth 24
	SubSection "Display"
		Viewport 0 0
		Depth 24
	EndSubSection
EndSection

Section "Extensions"
	Option "Composite" "Disable"
EndSection

Section "DRI"
	Mode	0666
EndSection
please help. And i'm sorry if this has been asked but i don't have too much time to search.

I have a nvidia card but since no one has helped consider that you have no pixmap option as mentioned here

http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/ATI

you may notice that your driver set is one alternative to other set. So if my suggestion fails for you....and no one with ati card replies try the other alternative

I found out that the problem is in the Driver itself. The new Drivers don't work with some AGP cards and i have to wait for ATI to fix that...
