Hello Linux Community,

I tried to bood the newly released Fedora 20 on a retina crap book pro. Unfortunately it fails with the following messages:

Code:

Generating "/run/initramfs/rdsosreport.txt"

Entering emergency mode. Exit the shell to continue.
Type "journalctl" to view system logs.

You might want to save "/run/initramfs/rdsosreport.txt" to a USB stick or /boot after mounting them and attach it to a bug report.

Any ideas how to get it booting? I'm very pissed by this crap osx and urgently need a replacement.
Any advice is welcome. Thank you!

I'm not sure what a "retina crap book pro" is, but what are you using to boot? Are you using DVD, USB? I just did a brand new install on a Lenovo T510 and all I did was download the iso image, isohybrid it, then dd it to a USB drive.

manwichmakesameal, thanks for taking the time replying.
I also tried booting from an USB stick. Booting starts, but fails quite early in the process.
The first three lines of the output (see initial message) indicate that there's something wrong with the chipset initialization. Maybe somebody with some deep knowledge about this matter knows a way how to workaround/fix it.
Ubuntu 13.10 is booting fine, so does mac os x. Btw, here's a link to what a "retina crap book pro" referes to.

Thanks again.
