Fedora 19 and Yumex - and polkit-kde
Yumex runs fine if I force root at the command-line:
What do I need to do next?
This might be related: when I opened Dolphin to access a slave drive that I haven't mounted to the system, I get, "An error occurred while accessing '3tb', the system responded: An unspecified error has occurred: Not authorized to perform operation." I was able to do this through Dolphin a couple days ago. I have since updated the system.
How did you invoke yumex when you were logged in as you?
Here's what I get from yumex in a terminal window:
use_sudo to start the yum backend using sudo, which requires that the user not be prompted for a password when using sudo. (This is not a normal setting, nor is it recommended unless you really check you system integrity daily.)
The two options in red are because this is a from my Rawhide installation, and weird things often appear in the rawhide repositories.
