there is one major new change in the Gnomeshell with F19 the applications menu no longer shows all applications. you have to click the view all, or all button at the bottom of the screen. then you will find it called software and update software.
also a new feature with F19 (its part of systemd) is when you find a link on the web that is a .rpm the GUI will prompt you to install and ask for root access to perform the task.
