Fedora 17 not starting up
Good day, my Fedora 17 will not start up at power on, and after I choose to boot from external memory, and Fedora 17, there is type but it stalls.
Should I go back to Fedora 16? Is there an alternate Fedora17?

you need to provide more useful information than this, we aren't psychic.
It will not start? Has it ever started? What does "start" even mean? What happens?? "there is type"? What does that mean?
Naturally Fedora 17 "works"... it does more than that. So there will be a solution if you actually tell us abuot your system properly.

OK, my fedora 17 install to a micro sd card, that it boot from, does not work. It does not reach the screen to enter the password. I re-installed it some time ago to fix this, but the very same fault happens. I think it may be a corrupted download. The installer works to bring up the page with the image and options and I can check my email...
I'll just start up again and take not of the type where it stalls.

I put in my password and it was accepted, but instead of starting,
"Cannot open font file True
No key available with this passphrase.
Wrong password
dracut warning: Unable to process initqueue
dracut warning: /dev/mapper/vg-lv_rootdoes not exist
dracut warning: /dev/vg.lv_swap does not exist
Dropping to debug shell.
dracut:/#"
Could this be a corrupt download or image burn? Is there another version of Fedora 17? Maybe with Xfce?
