Fedora 16 sound sounds terrible...

So I've switched to the fedora distro and I'm loving it so far. The problem though is that the sound works however it sounds very static like or distorted and fuzzy. The sound works fine with ubuntu or windows 7. It's sound straight from the motherboard and not the graphics card or add on sound card.

The motherboard is an ASRock h61m-vs

Is this some sort of a driver issue or what should I be looking for to solve this?

Thanks!

Hello,

In order to further troubleshoot, we will need to know what sound device you have. Could you kindly post the output of the following for us, using code tags?
Code:
uname -a
lspci -k
Cheers,

Josh

I'm still pretty new to linux. I'm thinking I just don't have the right drivers but I'm unfamiliar how to go about getting the correct ones.
