Fedora 16 luks prompt

With the new grub2 in f16, the options have changed and there doesn't seem to be an option for a luks prompt at the start of the boot like before. I can't find it, at least. Is there an option to return the luks password prompt to the startup of rhgb, like before?

Is this a new install, or did you upgrade? You need to specify that you want to encrypt your drive during the installation of your distro, that is if it is a new install. If an upgrade, did you have LUKS setup before hand?

It's a new install, and the encryption works. I've been using it for a while on previous versions. The only thing now is that instead of showing a password prompt on boot, it just stops at a certain point until you press esc and type it in. Other than that, it's working. I'm just asking if there's a way to set it like previous versions where the password prompt would be the first thing, which was achieved by deleting rd_NO_LUKS from the kernel boot line. That doesn't seem to be working in grub2.

Ahh, I see what you mean. Try to configure plymouth with a new theme, and/or change it to the details theme. This may have something to do with it.
