Question Fedora 11 and Adaptec 2010s

Has anyone tried Fedora 11 and or 12 on a system using an Adaptec 2010s ZCR Raid controller for the boot and root file systems? If so, does it work?

I'm currently running Fedora 10 on this system which is an important development system to me. In order to make F10 work in this configuration, I have to modify mkinitrd. It failed to load the i2o_block module. Without changes, the system would install but not boot from a RAID on the 2010s. I really want to upgrade to F11, but I can't afford to lose the system and have to start over again. I know that F11 probably doesn't even use mkinitrd during the boot but has some new mechanism.

If anyone's tried F11 and or 12 on such a system, please let me know how you made out.
