Fedora 10 x86_64 - Can't install xine-libs-extras

Hi,

When I try to yum install xine-lib-extras I get an error. The code block below will explain it better than I can.

I upgraded to Fedora 10 x86_64 from Fedora 9 x86_64 using preupgrade.
I've tried removing xine and re yum install'ing it, but it has same issue.

Short:
Code:
xine-lib-extras-freeworld-1.1.16-1.fc10.x86_64 from rpmfusion-free-updates has depsolving problems
  --> Missing Dependency: xine-lib(plugin-abi) = 1.25 is needed by package xine-lib-extras-freeworld-1.1.16-1.fc10.x86_64 (rpmfusion-free-updates)
Error: Missing Dependency: xine-lib(plugin-abi) = 1.25 is needed by package xine-lib-extras-freeworld-1.1.16-1.fc10.x86_64 (rpmfusion-free-updates)

Full output:
Code:
[regan@gamma ~]$ sudo yum install @sound-and-video
Loaded plugins: refresh-packagekit

Yeah same here. I think they are pushing in updates, so wait for a few hours and then try.

I had something like this just before the last update, got rectified when the entire list got mirrored. Give it some time.

Thanks Hitboxx, I'm new to Fedora (used to use Ubuntu), I guess these kind of issues are common given the leading edge/development nature of the OS?

I had the same problem, fixed it by doing the following as root:

yum clean all

Found answer from experts exchange (can't post link for some reason)

noky - that worked for me also. It seemed to pickup a load of other updates that weren't showing before. Very odd, I guess my local yum cache was corrupted. I'll bear this in mind next time.

Thanks very much!

I didn't do clean all or anything, just checked the list after a few hours and now I can see the list of it and the updates are going fine.

I think that was MY experts-exchange question XD

From user mtchs?
That would be me, if it was.

I discovered that switching mirrors, and forcing a yum clean.. let me install the old one.
Then I waited 2 hours from posting this, and the new one works.

The mirror I was using, seems to have a bad bitflip config.
