[SOLVED] Fedora's hate for firefox.

My firefox browser randomly shuts off in fedora saves what i have up put just once in a while just shuts off. Anyone else have this problem are depencies missing or something.

Hi,

I have been running Fedora 13 64bit since it was released and never had any problem with Firefox. Installed from repository and currently running 3.6.7.

What versions of Fedora, Firefox are you running and how was it installed?

Quite possibly its a problem with your Firefox profile and/or some extension. Can you try running Firefox in safemode and see if you get the same problem.

From a command terminal run the following:

firefox -safe-mode

I had a problem a few version ago, think it may have been fedora 8,
Whenever I dragged a url into the bookmarks, firefox locked up.
But it was OK if I opened up bookmarks, and ticked, "bookmark this page". Wasn't a big hassle so I didn't worry about it.

I am running lxde fedora seems to be having problems with lxde even on my desktop computer the terminal radomly shut off when i went to shink them.

On my desktop I use lubuntu

The only probems of this nature i have ever had were only in lxde maybe its a glitch I should it explore it a little more before i report it.
