Hmm.. try installing "system-config-services"
Code:
yum install system-config-services
and disable every service that you do not need. On the grub screen, press 'a' and remove "rhgb quiet" from the kernel's arguments and press enter to boot. You'll see a lot of boot messages. They might help you in figuring out the problem.
