fdisk not available

My friend is using Fedora core version 2.6.11, however, he could execute the fdisk command.

Does anyone know why?
If it available in Fedora core version 2.6.11? If not, what is the replacement tool for fdisk?

fdisk should be part of the base install. Are you root?
Is the sbin path in your PATH environment? Try an abs path (eg /sbin/fdisk or /usr/sbin/fdisk).
