FC5 Ethernet Transfer Measuring App

I'm running FC5-64 and was wondering if there was an app that would tell me what rate my ethernet connection is moving data. I installed the Network Tools but it only show the amount moving, not over what period of time and a rate.

Basically, I'm trying to figure out if the on-board NVIDIA ethernet on my ASUS A8N5X is really working at gigabit levels.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

i would suggest simply copying data across and timing it, get a large file and copy it, and just divide the size by the time to get the effective transfer speed. alternatively use curl or wget to pull data across from a local web server. Additionally i recall that scp also provides a transfer rate, so you can copy files over ssh that way.

Ok, thanks for the suggestion.
