FC4 repos in yumex


ok in yumex u go into the repos part and on mine there are 6 but only 3 checked. ive tried this everyway i could think of checking all and cheacking 3 that werent cheacked and keeping the 3 checked than i click add and it brings up another screen and asked me if id like to add them i said yes and nothing happens. is there a way of doing this. i guess what im trying to do is i got all repos that i know of in ubuntu it has a good guide for that but how in gods name do i do it in FC4?

The easiest way for me to get YUM working right in Fedora was to use Livna's repository. Download the Livna RPM by running the following command as root.

rpm -ivh http://rpm.livna.org/fedora/4/i386/R...5.4.noarch.rpm

Try that. Yum should have nearly every package you'd need now. Hope I understood your question

do i need to do something first and what?

use smart packge manager it is better then yum you can add any url ot it click here .

when i extract it (decompress) and run setup.py build its says no such file.
