Exclamation FC4 Remote Kernel Debugging

Hi, I want to use KGDB with FC4 over serial line or ethernet. I have done it many times in RH9 just be enabling it as an option in menuconfig, but I can't seem to find anything similar in Fedora. Is it possible to do remote debugging on FC4 at all?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Do you want to export your syslog files to another location??? (Meaning that your server or workstation will export its logs to another location.) That will work if you are interested in viewing logs. Quite simple to configure.

So my question would reference what exactly do you want to do?

Thanks for your reply. What I want to do is debug a kernel of one machine through a remote console on the other. The same type of set up that Red Hat 9 "Remote GDB" kernel option has. So the scenario would be something like this. Machine one starts loading the kernel. It stops and waits until a connection from a remote GDB has been established (through serial console or through Ethernet), once the connection is established and "continue" is received the kernel continues to load until it generates an error or hits a set break point. All the console output and debug information is sent to the GDB on the remote machine in real-time. Is something like that available through a patch to FC4?

Thanks a lot,
