Angry FC4 kernel update problems

I did a Yum update for the kernel . The kernel updated and installed . On booting the new kernel I get the following message :
MP-BIOS bug unable to connect 8354 timer and something about APIC.
How do I get around this ?

Don't think, upgrade to FC5, it may help, ot you can return to your previous kernel. Just download, or install from CD.

Talking

Solved .... APIC and ACPI are 2 entirely seperate things I found out .
One refers to "priority Interrupt controller" and the other to Power management . The MP in MP-bios referes 2 "multi processing " what was that doing in my board ? Setting APIC to disabled seems to set things right .

Glad to see solved . When you install WXP, it may erase your grub, and it also may not. Be careful anyway.
