FC4 install - Kernel panic fix
 

I found a fix for this elsewhere (credit to schlongsalami) and it worked for me. Hope it works for you.

Boot from FC4 disc 1. Type "mediacheck" you will get an error. Then type "linux mediacheck" and it should continue to install as normal. Good luck.

Just type anything and hit enter.

at the next prompt just hit enter again. no need to type media check and all.. or give whatever option u want the second time doesnt make a difference
