I wish to setup a FC4 (64bit) installation which can be used as a firewall, router, webserver, and NAS. i will connect my cable modem thru a 100mb nix (red), and connect my personal lan thur a 1 gb nix (green). I've installed FC4 to the 40gb drive as hda, setup the four 400gb hard drives in software raid 5. what i have got: Aopen i945Pa-PLF Intel Celeron D 351 Prescott 533MHz FSB 256KB L2 Cache LGA 775 EM64T Processor 4x Seagate Barracuda 7200.9 ST3400633AS 400GB SATA2 7200RPM Hard Drive w/16MB Buffer CORSAIR VALUE SELECT 1GB DDR2 667MHz 100mb nix and 40Gb hard drive out of storage. i found this http://www.fedoranews.org/ghenry/gateway/ but it is for a modem and a nix, i got two nix. i currently can get a ip address from a puter connected to the green nix, but no internet access. my ifcfg-eth0: DEVICE=eth0 BOOTPROTO=static BROADCAST=192.168.1.255 HWADDR=00:01:80:62:7A:5A IPADDR=192.168.1.2 NETMASK=255.255.255.0 NETWORK=192.168.1.0 ONBOOT=yes TYPE=Ethernet setup firewall/customize has a trusted device which is eth0, and masquerade deveces which is set to ?
