FC4 CD record

Maybe I'm missing something because nobody else has commented in this forum on the fact that FC4 is missing any package to record CD's (ISO's). I tried installing K3b but was advised that gcc is blacklisted because it will corrupt the version of KDE in FC4. Any suggestions on how to have a CD burning package equivalent to K3B?

I have k3b on my FC4 system...did you try getting the rpm for k3b?

Thanks - that worked. I had tried with the RPM from the K3b site, but it wouldn´t compile because gcc was deliberately blacklisted . YUM is great.

no problem...make sure you have yum set up using the extra repositories so you rarely have to go hunting for rpms.
