FC3+nfs+KDE+openoffice(Can't modify a document and save it) RPC error

I have two pc's loaded with FC3 they both dual boot to Win2000

The problem I'm having is with opening an OpenOffice document on the networked PC using NFS (opening a document is not a problem) but when I modify and save the document, I get an RPC error.

Connection to host An RPC error occured. is broken

The same applies to copy and paste from the one PC to another using Konqueror this only applies to NFS.

When I use SAMBA, it works ok.

the setup for the /ect/exports file is as follows

/data/ * (rw,sync,all_squash
/home/ * (rw,sync,all_squash)

In the services configuration tool the following are ticked to start at boot

lisa
network
nfs
nfslock
portmap

Have I missed anything here?

Any suggestions?

Thanks
