Well a Happy New Year to all. A special thanks to Y2K who pointed me in the direction of yum,apt and Synaptic, that has made life alot easier. Lets hope the year starts better than the way it ended for the folks in Asia.
Now my problem. How do you change the login manager from gdm to kdm and set KDE as the default desktop. I lost Gnome after doing some updates, like a few other it seems!
I also have no ability to play CD's, MP3's are ok but others are having that problem so I will monitor those threads.
