Question FC3 Install with Adaptec 2940-UW SCSI Controller

How can I tell the FC3 install program to use the driver aic7xxxx for adaptec SCSI controllers? I have heard that this driver is faulty on the install disks.
The install CD boots fine, but hangs at a blank screen after "loading vmlinuz.........."

The mediacheck options fail in a similar fashion.

The options "nofb" produces similar results.

Are other install options documented anywhere?

I only have SCSI drives in this machine. There is an onboard IDE controller, but I don't intend to use it, so I should be able to install from the SCSI devices.

Bill

Hmm. I'm afraid the CD may have been corrupted in the download or burning. You may just have to re-download and re-burn new ones...
