FC3 Boot help

I just installed FC3 and did an apt-get dis-upgrade. Apon reboot I get erros when trying to access ntp server. it shows permission denied unable to access libm.so.6 and some other lib files with other services. I am not sure where to look for the error message log for startup. I have read the /var/log/messages, but can not find it in there. Any sugestions on how to fix this problem?

I am novice when it comes to linux so any help is appriciated.

you may have broken a crap load of dependencies and packages...if thats the case Synaptic is good for getting rid of/replacing broken packages..

or you maybe need to make some symbolic links (ie you may have libmycstuff.so.7 but another prog will be looking for libmycstuff.so.6)

or i could be totally wrong :P

The problem was I enabled selinux, so I disabled it and it no longer gives the errors.
