FC2 Installed, what now?
Yay, today I finally got rid of my Redhat 7.3 server. Backed up all my configs and files to another drive, then completely wiped it and did a nice clean install.
Install went well, configured ok so far. Samba win98 network is active, dnsmasq, noip etc all installed and going ok. Seems to have been a nice easy upgrade :) So, where do we go for the updates? there must be some security flaws in here somewhere :P Which of the supplied packages do you recommend updating? Whats the best places for the leaing-edge Fedora news? cheers K |
Uptodate is installed by default. Shows as a blue checkmark if ok, red exclamation point if updates. I also use YUM and Synaptic without conflicts. As to news, there's http://fedoranews.org/ and you should check out http://www.fedorafaq.org/ for faq's. Myself, I mostly check out http://fedoraforum.org/ which generally gets me a solution to my problems or at least gives me comfort that others are also screwed.
