FC2 Doesn't Install

I can't get FC2 T1 or T2 to install. I get the boot screen and the image loads and then the screen goes black and my system hangs. It is an old PIII 600B chip with an Asus mobo. I know FC2 has some problems on older machines, but I was hoping there was a fix for this. I've tried doing a no probe as well as disconnecting the nic. Kudzu gave me problems with my FC1 install. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Well, have you used FC1 on this system before? Any error messages or does it just go black?

I am not sure about FC2 but is there a text install, if so try that. And maybe try a boot disc? I am not sure about FC2, but FC1 has a install from HD which may work. Also, make sure you check the md5 sums beforehand.
