Unhappy FC2 Bootup locking up

Hi,

Sometimes when I'm booting into FC2, it locks up at the following point:

...
ide1 at 0x170-0x177,0x376 on irq 15
hda: max request size: 12KiB <-- lockup after this.

How could I find out what is happening from logs or other sources?
