F10 won't resolve hostnames
Crap...!
Neither F10 32bit nor 64 bit would resolve a hostname... Firefox could open http://75.126.162.205/ but not http://linuxquestions.org... I saw the same thing with pinging: If I pinged a hostname, it would resolve to its ip address but I got no pings or pongs... Manually entering the DNS servers didn't fix anything... Another weird thing is that I was able to receive upgrades after installing the 64 bit version.. However, I still had the hostname issue. Anyone else run in to this or have a fix!? - Ehtetur |
Do you get a result running:
Code:
nslookup linuxquestions.org If you set the value of network.dns.disableIPv6 to true, you may find that this resolves the issue (assuming the nslookup worked) |
