EXt3-fs:group descriptors corrupted.

My PC all of a sudden got stuck - monitor on but blank.
I restarted and got the msg : Operating System not found !
I plugged the power cable and IDE properly to the HDD and it booted up. GRUB started but on initializing FC2 I got this msg after which it gets hanged :

Uncompressing Linux:...Ok booting kernel
audit(xxx.x....x..:0) : initialized
EXT3-fs error (device hda3):ext3_check_descriptors:Block bitmap for grade 38 not int grade ( block 34799616)
EXt3-fs:group descriptors corrupted.
mount:error 22 mounting ext3
pivotrootivot_root (/sysroot, /sysroot/initrd) failed :2
unmount/initrd/proc_failed:2
kernel panic : No init found : Try passing init=0 to kernel

This is all greek to me and I just tried doing rescue from the FC2 1 disk but after locading it shows that there is no hda3 linux partition and restarted !

What do I have to do fix this ?

Thanks
