Error message after setting a local repo for YUM

Hello,

I've been trying to set up the FC6 DVD as local repo for YUM, as I have read in several threads here, but it does not work.

What I did is writing:
Quote:
baseurl=file://media/FC6\ DVD\ release/
in the fedora-core.repo file (and then also at the bottom of the yum.conf).

While launching the "Add/Remove Software" GUI application, I get the error message stating that the address is wrong, so the system cannot retrive application informatio, and the the application is shut down.

Which is my mistake?

I think it should be baseurl=file:///media/FC6\ DVD\ release/

also if fedora-core.repo exists in /etc/yum.repos.d/ then it is not reqd to be put in yum.conf
