Question Enterprise Linux: 8 CDs??!

I accessed Oracle's download page (http://edelivery.oracle.com/linux) for Enterprise Linux (a RHEL clone like CentOS) and it says there are 8 CDs to download!

I also saw that Fedora has several CDs for its distro. Do I really need to download all of them? I only want to have a simple Gnome desktop. When I'm up and running I can install from YUMEX Firefox, BIND, MySQL, lighttpd, etc...

Please let me know if it's necessary to download all that

I read somewhere that you can download the 1st 2 or 3, I don't recall which, and then do as you say and use yumex. I would think if you go with the basic install or a minimal install and just add the gnome stuff that should do it.
