Easy Rpm for PHP?

Hi there, I'm using a dedicated server. I'm managing it with Webmin, not sure if that helps or not.

I need my php to have GD and Mysql enabled and I see from phpinfo in the configure command it clearly says --without-mysql' '--without-gd'.

So I'm curious, do I have to recompile php and change just that one small phrase? Do I have recompile php and apache together? Or is there an RPM I can simply run that will save me much time. Any pointers in the right direction will help. I appreciate it.

Yes you have to rebuild the binary package after making your changes to the spec file.

FYI: Fedora Core is not designed to be a dedicated server, if this is your goal then try CentOS or Scientific Linux or Whitebox Linux. All are freely available re-branded 100% binary clones of RHEL with legal issues resolved.

Well that might be kind of hard to set up seeing how I can't actually touch the server. But I appreciate your response.

I installed an rpm called php-mysql and an rpm called php-gd. It works now It took all of ten seconds. Thank you for your advice, but it was wrong.
