dvd playback


i cannot play any dvd on my pc. is it a software matter? what should i use?

libdvdcss

this is the library that sorts the encryption problem

it doesn't ship with any version of linux due to legal problems

have you installed libdvdcss, libdvdplay and libdvdread? also what distro are you using and what dvd playback software?

i'm running fedora core1. i've tried both mplayer and totem. i'm going to download and install the libraries you point out and i'll get back.
